Whether you want to photograph your friends, your family or at work or just to capture the beauty around you. In this course, we will teach you in small groups the skills you need in order to make your wish come true.

  1. What is photography? (writing with light)

We will begin to explore photography how effecting and what offers in our daily lives. Also the shooting and recording process, the camera anatomy and understanding the different shooting modes and settings.

  1. Camera functions and lenses

Understanding and controlling the functions of your camera will expand your creative control will open new possibilities for your images. We look at the different types of lenses and their use.

  1. Motion and depth of field

Motion control and manipulation of depth of field in your images will allow you to add drama and quality to your images.

  1. Fully manual operation

Understanding  the combination of exposure, aperture, shutter speed and ISO.

  1. Photometry

Most cameras feature built-in photometers with multiple options and provide great comfort to the photographer. In this section we look at the various photometric options (reflective and incident lighting).

  1. Composition of the Photographic Image

Composition refers to the placement and relationship of elements within an image. The basic principles and composition that we will develop are knowledge that will help you to acquire the necessary photographic composition techniques to make your images with communication and aesthetic value.

  1. Light is the language of photography

The various forms of illumination convey information just like words. Any information transmitted by light is simple and understandable, since we certainly know how to read it. Section 7 examines the different types of light, the measurement and quality of light and explains how it can be used to understand your exposure.

  1. Reflection of light
  2. Absorption of light
  3. Diffusion of light
  4. Refraction of light
  5. The color and color temperature of the light

In section 8, we study different light sources and how we can change the atmosphere and mood in our photos.

  1. The digital image

Here we study the format of files and how digital images are made. Participants will learn how to use lightroom software, which is essential for all photographers who want to find a way to sort and edit their photos easily and correctly, using a single program.

Lightroom through its beautiful and friendly environment, covers in a very efficient way all the work that today’s photographer has to do.

  1. Photographing People

People are everywhere, at work, at fun, in the entertainment, at home, on the street, at school, and so on. The approach, (the greatest secret of the photographer) is a skill acquired with expanded knowledge of human behavior. Participants take a lot of shootings  (indoors and outdoors) to familiarize themselves with the techniques and the different approaches to photographing people.

  1. Portrait

In section 11, participants are trained in portraiture techniques, with natural lighting (environmental portraits) and technical lighting (Studio). Participants will practice with multiple shots in order to familiarize  the lighting techniques and the various portrait photographic approaches.

  1. Photo Editing (Lightroom)

In section 12, you will learn how to select your best photos,  edit and archive them using lightroom software.

  1. Creating a Portfolio – Exposing your work
