This seminar/workshop is a thorough introduction to architectural photography through theory and practice. It will give you the basic conceptual and technical tools that will enable you to develop your practice.
Description of seminar/workshop
The contemporary presentation of buildings as well as the urban environment is returning to photography strongly after the “fashion” of 3d presentation of realism architectural plans in digital programs. Through lectures and practical exercises, you will familiarize yourself with photography techniques and the use of necessary equipment to create architectural photographs of interiors and exteriors.
You will learn and apply the basic image post-production tools used in architectural photography and become familiar with the practice of architectural photography processing, essential to creating a concise and powerful documentation of a building and its relationship to its surroundings.
The aim of this Seminar/workshop is to:
- Understand what architectural photography is today
- Effectively use camera settings during an architectural shoot
- Use photography techniques with your equipment
- Make a photographic documentation of the exterior or interior of a building
- learn to photograph architectural buildings and cityscapes.
Level of knowledge
Those interested should know the functions / settings of your camera
basic knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom.

Necessary equipment: A basic condition for the effective attendance of the seminar/workshop, participants should have their own photographic equipment: DSLR, Mirrorless camera, with fixed lenses 20mm or 24mm – or zoom 16-35mm, or 24-70mm.
They should also have a sturdy tripod.
Optional ND filters and polarizing filter.
